a good line.

“I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I got out of school, but I knew I liked to fish.”

Today I heard Johnny Morris (of Bass Pro Shops fame) give a talk to college students (he’s a Drury alum, too. No bigs.) and I was so struck by this simple comment he made that I wrote it on my hand, Palin style.

Part of me wants to write a big, long entry on what this sentence makes me think about passion and success. Part of me wants to let it just sit there, Zen style, and ooze out its wisdom.
